Hi, I’m Sally, welcome to Aerie Living!

One day looking out over the magical view from our house, a conversation sparked a comment ‘this is your eagles nest; your special place’ and from that, the concept for Aerie Living; hatched.

So what is an Aerie? The noun aerie, alternative spelling of eyrie is; ‘a large nest of an eagle or other bird of prey high in a tree or on a cliff. It is a high or inaccessible place from which someone can observe what is below them’.

Where does ‘Aerie Living’ feature?

I wanted to bring everything together, under one roof. My yoga studio in Somerset, the products I love, the services I think we all deserve. At Aerie Living you will find what you are searching in one succinct Hub.

Why Aerie Living? Let’s rewind the clock; I read Business Law, continued with the post- grad and work cycle. I later married, I had my first son, soon to be followed by my youngest son and stepped away from corporate. Life became very busy. In Forty years I have moved house 29 times; lived in four countries; I have renovated houses; won Awards; worked as an extra in film/drama; run a small farm; volunteered for children’s charities; researched for a best selling American author; the book was published. I qualified as a yoga instructor, started my own one to one Studio; won a Vegan Beauty Award; I’m in the process of writing a book alongside investigating products for my new Brand Sadie and Rose. I qualified as a Life Coach, following the widespread impact of Covid and I continue to enjoy teaching private yoga. During the winter I love nothing more than harvesting olives at home for our own special brand of olive oil. It has been an eclectic mix of experiences thus far, none of which I would change. “Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself” George Bernard Shaw.

Life is best enjoyed when you can sample the view; when your pace is such that you take the time to look up; to pause for breath; to be grateful and to make memories. Seldom do we get those moments.
